TechnIEEk-09......Day 4

Finals eh! , well i was not concerned of the finals i was happy cause it was the least hectic day of all 4..... Yet, i spent hours preparing the question for Google It out, and the devil internet goes down the instant it was about to start ,a nd people say i am lucky . Anyways , brand image is still on in the CAT , team Eureka won it (why? Ask Changia) . Time to prepare the events for the core night , spent about an hour deciding the events and settled upon on Intro Skit , Press Con , Utter Chaos and Silence of the champs ,time for a nap ... brb

Finals , all the teams ascending to the stage with props , some with awesome skits , some dissapointing , worth mentioning the performance of a 2k9 team (it also had a Kaala) , the 2k9 team came 3rd , 2k7 came second and a well deserving first spot for the 2k8 team , and the tag of Mr. Technieek for Nikhil Mantha . Its almost8:30 and the girls have to go back :( , bye girls ......

;) now begins the ass kicking fest starring Mantha,Changia and Debjeet(in order) all said and done it's time for a Kodak moment .

Finally to quote Kunal Baraik " Technieek completed without any screwups ... phew!"

TechnIEEk-09.......Day 3

Clouds looming over the sky , a storm lies ahead , no i am not talking of hailstorms and whirlwinds , its Treasure Hunt time ... people run around the campus finding clues to lead them to the final treasure , a 5 person buffet @ Capitol residency .... but the Jack Sparrows had to wait till the awesome band performance ended with the notes of "In the end " by Linkin Park ....


Whoa! , who are the two gorgeous ladies with Big 92.7 FM t-shirts , oh i know , they are the judges for ADitude , on the spot skit , the skits were cool with a guest appearance by......, guess who is the only guy from 2k6 to act with 2k9 girls .... yeah , you are right, Mr. Saurabh Kumar , with his awesome over-dramatization , won a gift from Big , congrats.

Ah! Sensex how can i forget that , kudos to Debjeet,Himanshu and Arijit for making the software , so that CAT can turn into Dalal Street , people kept on flooding and the innovative idea of Rs.10 (real money) for a loan of Rs. 25000(Virtual money) added to our pockets :) , anyways i am tired with all of the Dalal street screaming and am in a dire need for sleep , finals tomorrow , you definitely don't wanna miss it.

TechnIEEk-09........Day 2

The Day couldn't have come sooner ..... This was the day of Blitzkreig -2 , Tech Debate and so much more ...... but something came out of the blues , whoa whats changia doing with all those paper and balls with numbers printed on it..... oh no! its TAMBOLA , hosted by Arushi ..... there goes the technicality of our event ..... and kudos to TAMBOLA , the events started off late , anyways the JANTA seemed to enjoy it (and was good on the financial side too , if u know what i am talking about!) , ....so Blitzkeig 2 started off late , but was a blockbuckster again with innovative events(somewhat girly!) coming from girls.

BYTE , another coding event , so it meant one guy would be missing, and that would be me......

I seemed to be interested in Avishkar , more than coding , dunno why....

Anyways twas a busy day yet again , and also had to correct papers of an event named DHOKA , which was fun instead ;) ..... that's all 4 today...gn

TechnIEEk-09......DAY 1

What an awesome start to TechnIEEk - 09 , has
been raining since noon ,
but that's not gonna change the enthu of people .
With the inauguration ceremony done , technieek starts off with a bang. First event .... the QuiZ , hosted by Q-tan ( Sorry Tension Agarwal , I mean Tanmay Agarwal :P) and Sneha Ranjan , the crowd overflooded the auditorium.



Circuit Analysis , Grey Cell gamble , Blitzkreig 1 , Coding Prelims , Aditude Prelims , JAM Prelims.........so much to do , so less time


Anyways Grey Cell gamble was a newbie ,
based on rules of poker
proposed by Ankita , only the cards have been replaced by Questions to bet upon, required a bit of maths though for calculations ( Even I,the invigilator, got confused :P)

Blitzkreig as usual was a superhit , with people running around everywhere....

Coding hosted by ACM , a bit serious event so obviously "I went missing from there.... sorry again ACM Members"
